Pottery has always been in the back of my head, a little nagging, a quiet dream that wanted to be expressed. A dear friend gifted me a voucher for a pottery class and it all went from there – not in a straight forward pottery highway but in a slow journey with distractions, setbacks and oh so many moments of utter joy. Step by step I started to explore which techniques feel the most natural and fun, what colors resonate with me, which textures are intriguing to the eyes and hands...
It’s an ongoing exploration, a forever dynamic journey.

My stoneware pieces are durable, food-safe*, dishwasher-safe* and always lead-free.
Stoneware is a type of ceramic made from clay which is fired at high temperatures making it very durable and able to withstand both low and high temperatures.
With it's rustic charm it brings warmth and coziness into your home.
*except items with crackle glaze, these are for decoration or dry foods only as their micro cracks may absorb liquid and over time become a hygiene concern. Crackle glazed items are clearly marked in my shop.
♡ All items dish washer safe (except the crackle glazed ones). If you want to take extra care of your unique piece of pottery hand washing with a mild dish soap is still the gentlest option.
♡ While stoneware is impermeable, unglazed sections, such as the bottom of a plate, may still be prone to staining. Avoid leaving acidic or strong-colored foods on these sections for too long. If oil markings or coloring from food occurs over time it is a natural characteristic and does not affect the safety or functionality of the piece.
♡ Avoid sudden temperature changes as these create tension and may promote cracking (eg. do not place a stoneware dish from the fridge in the preheated oven)
